28# Lake Michigan King Salmon, Will-C-Fish

Hello Again Friend,
Here is a 28# King Salmon caught off of Door
Bluff on the peninsula above Sturgeon Bay in
Green Bay Wisconsin. At the time we had a 14'
Lund Guide Boat with one down rigger. My wife
Joanne and I caught 365# in 3 days. Went back
many times but with a bigger boat and two
downriggers. Lures we were using Mauler flash
baits and J-Plugs, using stick baits on long lines
early in the morning. We also used Dipsy Divers
and Pink Lady's. I will be giving detailed
information later on how this type of fishing is
done and have many great locations to share.
We will discuss terminal tackle rigging, thermocline,
water temperature, lodging and camping locations,
bait balls, structure fishing, time of day.
I have nothing against guides but never
hired one for fresh water. Oh, that's right,
I couldn't afford one.
Best of Luck to You,
You can do this too.
